MONDAY (2016 – 2018)
This project is anchored by three concerns that have been appearing in my pictures for some time now: puzzles (fragments and missing pieces), basic shapes (in this case mostly triangles) and perhaps most importantly, an interest in a certain quiet, goofy masculinity. These images have been edited to go together and add up to an idea that seems both within grasp yet difficult to articulate. I like that tension.
